Greg Noll & Bing Copeland

Two childhood friends who grew up down the street from one another, surfing and building boards as a way to avoid getting “real jobs.” Over time—and with plenty of hard work—each played a significant role in bringing surfboard production and manufacturing to the world stage. Now living away from the hustle of modern surf culture—Bing in Idaho and Greg in Crescent City—they've both carved out quieter lives. We brought the two friends back to their hometown, where it all began, for an evening of great stories to help celebrate Bing Surfboards' 60 years in business.
